Just a quick post here.

We’re getting a lot of calls from skid steer operators this winter. They have a big problem. Their skid steers with rubber tracks are great in mud, dirt, deep snow and other extreme conditions. BUT on ice-glazed asphalt or concrete, they just spin the tracks.
Maxi grip
MaxiGrip Ice studs are in demand. These ice studs are new in the marketplace and really do fit a need. Designed for rubber tire equipment with little to no clearance for tire chains, ice studs are the solution. Well, now it seems to be the best option for rubber track equipment as well.

Check them out here.

Have a great week

What are studs made of ? Can they be removed after they wear down? How many would a Kubota SLV
    75 take ?

  2. Brian Jones says:

The MaxiGrip stud has a carbon tip. The carbon tip is cemented in the full depth of the stud head. The screw thread is hardened and galvanized.
Hexagon head allows for for application and removal with installation tool. On tracks 3 studs per lug should be efficient.
